Our Prediction:

Roma will win

Roma – AC Milan Match Prediction | 28-10-2019 13:00

Certainly, they will want to take advantage of a Milan side who are still struggling to find their identity, especially in defense. Roma are still unbeaten in their last two games, but their performances havent been the strongest, as they struggled against Torino and were left scrambling against Atalanta. Those were two mid-level sides the Lupi figured they should have easily pushed aside.

Milan were quite impressive during the first half against Napoli and former boss Carlo Ancelotti, but then the Partenopei turned the tide on them as Ancelotti was able to get the better of his former player Gennaro Gattuso and ensured that Napoli picked up another come from behind victory. Although it is still early, its a big setback for a team who had spent big last summer and made some smart acquisitions this time around by bringing in signings like Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus.

Roma Draw No Bet is our pick, alongside another clean sheet for them in a 2-0 win. Roma won at Napoli, Milan and Atalanta last term, while they kicked off this season with a 1-0 win over Torino. Romas away record is among the best in Europe right now, they won 12 and lost just one of their away matches last season. Theyve won eight of their last 10 on their travels, with their only loss across the previous campaign coming at champions Juventus. The visitors conceded just 0.47 goals per game on the road last term, and were backing them to claim a win here.

Strangely, their strong defence from away league matches over the last 12 months was missing at the Stadio Olimpico once again. That brought another comeback for the Giallorossi, who levelled thanks to Kostas Manolas in the 82nd minute. That means Roma remain unbeaten after two games, but theyll expect an improvement this week. Roma were involved in a comeback of their own on Monday, racing back from 3-1 down to Atalanta at home in order to secure a point.

Roma vs AC Milan Predictions, Betting Tips and Match Previews

A lively contest is on the cards in Milano and seeing that both teams will go for a win in Saturdays clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. The Biancocelesti, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with Sassuolo at the weekend, but a win over Milan at Stadio San Siro would see them move one step closer to securing a top-four finish.

Just to look at the injury list must be quite painful for their manager Paulo Fonseca at the moment. Home crowd expect their best striker Edin Dzeko to put his name on the scoresheet one more time. As many as 8 players are injured and unavailable for the upcoming match, while Justin Kluivert is suspended since he was red-carded in the last match.

Roma Draw No Bet is our pick, alongside another clean sheet for them in a 2-0 win. The visitors conceded just 0.47 goals per game on the road last term, and were backing them to claim a win here. Romas away record is among the best in Europe right now, they won 12 and lost just one of their away matches last season. Roma won at Napoli, Milan and Atalanta last term, while they kicked off this season with a 1-0 win over Torino.

Even more frustrating is the fact that Milan actually had the lead in that game, only to end up losing 3-2 by the time the final whistle blew. AC Milan were hoping to start their season off with a win last weekend after having their first game cancelled following the Genoa bridge collapse. However, the Rossoneri crumbled against Napoli, much to their fans disappointment.

On 9 July 2012 Fabio Borini completed a transfer to Liverpool, but he had a pretty disappointing start to his career at Anfield, scoring just two goals in 25 appearances for the club. As a result, he signed a permanent deal with the Black Cats in August 2015. The Italian striker spent the 2013/2014 season on loan at Sunderland and he scored seven goals in 32 appearances for the Stadium of Light outfit.

Predictions

Genaro Gattusos men are eager to grab something from Saturdays football game against Lazio, but beating the capital club is easier said than done. The Rossoneri suffered a dip in form, but despite losing to Juventus at the weekend, they are still in the race for a place in the Champions League. Milan will be looking to put an end to their four-game winless run in the Serie A when they host Lazio at their Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Matchday 32.

Anyhow, a close match is on the cards at Stadio Olimpico and we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. The Rossoneri, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with Lecce, meaning that new head coach Stefano Pioli will be looking to record his first win on his new job when Milan face Roma in the Eternal City.

There was deserved optimism around this Milan outfit ahead of their season getting underway. The Rossoneri played some excellent football, and their passing build-up put a fluid Napoli side to shame. Things were looking up for them during the first 50 minutes of their meeting with Napoli, too. However, the turning point saw Ancelotti hone in on Milans issues when it comes to playing out from defence, and under pressure their backline flopped, giving away the chances which saw Napoli claim a win. After all, they pulled off some of the summers most impressive business.
